I’m Ashley, the founder of Mortivae.

 

Mortivae wasn’t born from a perfectly mapped-out business plan. It grew from an idea I couldn’t shake: creating something different. Something beautiful, a little strange, deeply intentional, and welcoming to the people who have never quite fit neatly into one box.

 

Life has taught me that things can be both dark and beautiful. That endings can become beginnings. That grief and growth can exist in the same place. And that sometimes the things we create after everything changes become some of the most meaningful things we ever build.

 

That became part of the heartbeat behind Mortivae.

 

What began as a vision for a physical lounge grew into something I could start building long before the doors ever opened. Curated collections, handmade pieces, unexpected finds, collaborations with other makers, and products chosen because they have character—not because they belong on every other shelf.

 

Mortivae isn't meant to be polished into sameness.

 

It’s for the unusual, the curious, the beautifully imperfect, the collectors, the gift-givers, the people rebuilding, the people becoming, and anyone who has ever found beauty in places others might overlook.

And this is only the beginning.

 

My vision for Mortivae still reaches far beyond an online shop. I’m building toward a place where people can gather, slow down, discover something new, drink something incredible, experience unique events, and simply have somewhere they’re allowed to be completely themselves.

 

Until those doors open, Mortivae is growing piece by piece.

 

Every collection, every box, every handmade item, every collaboration and every person who chooses to support this little strange thing I’m building becomes part of that story.
